How it works
1. Read every field
Every field in each file is read, including fields inside nested sequences and vendor private fields.
2. Check the standard
Each field is compared to DICOM PS3.15 Annex E, the Basic Application Level Confidentiality Profile, with a plain English reason and fix.
3. Look at the pixels
Text burned into the image cannot be fixed by a header tool, so it tells you when you need to look yourself.
This is a helper, not a guarantee.
A clean result does not mean your files meet HIPAA, GDPR or any other rule. Always look at the images yourself and follow your own organization's process before you share anything.
